New Modern Look for the 2025 Skoda Enyaq

Skoda has unveiled a new look for the Enyaq electric crossover, set to arrive for the 2025 model year after spy photographers caught a prototype undergoing testing in the Alps. Although minor styling changes were observed, the production model is expected to feature a more radical design known as Modern Solid.

Initially introduced in 2020, the Enyaq assisted in kickstarting Skoda’s electric vehicle revolution. However, to keep up with the rapidly advancing EV technology, the updated crossover is receiving a comprehensive overhaul. Although additional details are undisclosed, the prototype displays a new front bumper with a larger, more expressive lower intake, along with simpler vertical air curtains.

While the grille and headlights remain consistent with the current model, a rendering suggests that the Enyaq may take inspiration from the Epiq concept, potentially ditching the traditional grille for slimmer lighting units. On the rear end, the updates are expected to include new taillights and a revised bumper. Notably, the prototype bears stickers reading “Test Drive, Thanks” and “Brake Test.”

Photographers noted that the cabin of the 2025 Enyaq appears to have undergone revisions, featuring camouflaged elements. Potential upgrades may include a refreshed infotainment system along with mid-cycle changes. The powertrain is also likely to receive enhancements for increased range and efficiency. The current model is offered in various configurations, with battery packs ranging from 62 kWh to 82 kWh, delivering different performance parameters and driving ranges.

For instance, the entry-level Enyaq 60 boasts a 62 kWh battery pack, while the Enyaq 85 steps up with an 82 kWh battery and more powerful motor options. All-wheel drive variants, such as the Enyaq 85x and the Enyaq vRS, offer even more performance capabilities, with higher outputs and faster acceleration. The upcoming Enyaq promises improved range and efficiency, catering to the evolving electric vehicle market.
