Free Rides to Ravinia Festival Concertgoers Available Throughout the Summer

The outdoor concert season at the suburban venue is set to kick off on June 7, with the 2024 Ravinia Festival offering free rides to concertgoers. Metra is providing free public transportation for those heading to the Highland Park venue for summer concerts. This marks the fourth year that Metra has offered this service, covering travel costs on the Union Pacific North Line from Chicago to Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Concert attendees can take advantage of the free rides to and from the Ravinia Park station, conveniently located at the entrance of the park and designated exclusively for Ravinia events. Additionally, the UP-North’s Braeside stop is just a short distance away from the park.

The 2024 Ravinia Festival lineup begins on June 7 with a performance from The Return of the Flock featuring Jerry Goodman. Outdoor concerts will continue through September 15, featuring notable artists such as Crowded House, TLC + Shaggy, Norah Jones, and The Roots. A detailed schedule of the 2024 Ravinia Festival concerts can be found on their website.

Don’t miss out on the exciting performances lined up for this summer at the suburban venue, and take advantage of Metra’s free rides to enjoy the music and atmosphere at the Ravinia Festival.
