‘Anticipating Day Two of the Reeling Festival in Glasgow’

The second day of the Central Belt’s biggest traditional music festival is set to begin in Glasgow later today. Fans of The Reeling, taking place in Reuken Glen Park, can look forward to the finest offerings of traditional Scottish folk music.

Scheduled to perform throughout the day are acts like Julie Fowlis and Mànrun. Event organizer Michael Pellegrotti expressed excitement about the strong following for traditional music in Scotland, especially with such a stellar lineup of some of the biggest bands in the scene. Attendees are expected to come from all over, from the Western Isles to the central belt.

In collaboration with SpeakGaelic, the festival is incorporating Gaelic signposting and language throughout the event. This move is deemed significant by Michael, who believes Gaelic is a crucial element of traditional music, regardless of whether attendees are Gaelic speakers or not.

Additionally, attendees can anticipate surprise acts that will surely delight fans of Niteworks. The festival site will close its doors at 8pm, so be sure to arrive on time to catch all the musical festivities.
