Edinburgh recruits new deputies for babies

The Edinburgh International Festival has announced the appointment of two new heads of artistic management and music programming. Paul Sharp and Nick Zekulin will be taking on these roles while director Nicola Benedetti is on maternity leave.

Zekulin, who is currently the general manager of the Hebrides Ensemble, brings a wealth of experience to the position. He has previously served as the chief of the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland, showcasing his expertise in youth music programming.

This new leadership team is set to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the festival, continuing its tradition of excellence in showcasing the arts. With their combined experience and passion for music, Sharp and Zekulin are poised to build on the festival’s success and create memorable experiences for audiences.
