ExsoMed’s Mobile Training and Cadaver Lab

“ExsoMed is committed to surgeon education and training,” said James Young Kim, ExsoMed’s Managing Director of Global Sales & Mktg. “So we have decided to bring the training to surgeons, making it convenient and safe to continue experiencing the latest innovations in hand surgery.”

ExsoMed Corporation, a privately held U.S.-based medical device company providing surgeons with innovative solutions in hand surgery, announced today that it has launched its new Mobile Training and Cadaver Lab Program for convenient, on-site surgeon education and training of its innovative solutions in hand surgery.

ExsoMed’s Mobile Training and Cadaver Lab Program was designed with the surgeon in mind. Surgeons are busy, and scheduling training opportunities after hours or on weekends is difficult, especially during these challenging times. Utilizing a fleet of Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans equipped with the most cutting-edge technology for a complete training experience, ExsoMed will be touring the country with knowledgeable staff who will personally visit facilities and provide surgeons with a unique educational lab training session to cover ExsoMed products and the very latest in hand surgery advancements.

  • Safe- All vans follow CDC guidelines to ensure safety during the cadaver lab and staff will manage attendance size and time to minimize contact and exposure
  • Convenient- Onsite, at desired facility, during a 15-minute time period that works for the surgeon’s busy schedule
  • Comprehensive- Each lab is fully equipped with all necessary tools and specimens for a complete training experience
  • Personalized- Learn from knowledgeable staff and perfect surgical techniques in a private, hands-on setting

“ExsoMed is very excited to launch this nationwide mobile training and cadaver lab program for surgeons,” shared James Young Kim, ExsoMed’s Managing Director of Global Sales and Marketing. “When it comes to the latest technologies in surgery, we know that most surgeons want some hands-on training with cadavers before implementing them into their clinical setting. However, surgeons have personal lives too; they would prefer to not sacrifice a weekend or an evening with their families for these types of trainings. Additionally, with the pandemic in mind, group gatherings have been difficult. ExsoMed is committed to surgeon education and training. So we have decided to bring the training to surgeons, making it convenient and safe to continue experiencing the latest innovations in hand surgery.”
