As we move closer to spring in the nation’s capital, that could only mean one thing: we are nearing cherry blossom season!
The National Cherry Blossom Festival announced Thursday that will hold its official prediction for the peak bloom period of the season on March 1.
The festival has already publicized that after a two-year hiatus, the annual Blossom Kite Festival is set for Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Cherry Blossom Festival will take place from March 20 through April 17, with a parade on Saturday, April 9. City and event leadership unveiled the official artwork in November 2021 for this year’s edition.
