‘2024 Book Festival in Belfast’

The Belfast Book Festival 2024 is set to be an exciting event taking place over eight days in June, from Thursday 6th to Thursday 13th. Hosted at The Crescent Arts Centre, the festival will offer a vibrant range of events and activities for both adults and children.

Highlights of the festival include renowned authors such as Margaret Drabble, Wendy Erskine, Colm Tóibín, Lucy Caldwell, Sinéad Gleeson, Kevin Barry, and many more. There will be engaging conversations, readings, and book launches throughout the festival.

For children, there will be a special line-up of writers on Saturday, including Jacqueline Wilson, Martin Waddell, Ashling Lindsay, and Colleen Larmour. The festival aims to cater to all age groups and interests with its diverse program.

The poetry segment of the festival will feature celebrated poet Marie Howe, along with local talents Dawn Watson and Scott McKendry. Additionally, there will be a live edition of RTÉ Sunday Miscellany with new writing from a lineup of esteemed authors.
