‘Famous Duo Perform ‘A Star Is Born’ Song at BottleRock’

BottleRock Napa Valley Delights Fans with Surprise Bradley Cooper Performance

Over Memorial Day Weekend, while other music festivals faced cancellations due to weather, BottleRock Napa Valley stood out as a successful event. Not only did BottleRock go off without a hitch, but it also featured a special surprise performance by none other than Jackson Maine himself, portrayed by Bradley Cooper in the hit movie “A Star Is Born.”

On Saturday, May 25, Cooper took the stage with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder to deliver a heartfelt rendition of “Maybe It’s Time,” a song from “A Star Is Born” that was written by Jason Isbell. The duo also sang “Rockin’ In The Free World,” and videos of their performance quickly made rounds on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

Cooper has long credited Vedder as a source of inspiration for his portrayal of Jackson Maine, sharing that he spent time with the musician in Seattle ahead of filming to learn more about the inner workings of being a musician.

Additionally, Cooper delighted fans by performing “Shallow,” the Grammy-winning duet he sang with Lady Gaga in “A Star is Born,” at the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage. Joined by Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and renowned chef José Andrés, the trio drew the largest crowd ever at the history of BottleRock Napa Valley.

The festival attendees were treated to an unforgettable experience as Cooper and Curry not only sang but also playfully interacted with the audience by launching Philly cheesesteaks into the crowd. The combination of Cooper’s musical talents and Curry’s infectious energy made for a memorable moment that left fans buzzing long after the festival had ended.
